Jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi has been arrested in the US. He is currently kept in a special prison in Iowa that rotates. Anmol is wanted in the firing outside actor Salman Khan's house in April this year and the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui on October 12.

However, he has not been arrested in the criminal cases for which he is wanted in India. Last week, he was arrested on charges of entering the US with illegal documents. Anmol has sought asylum in the US. He has applied for this through his lawyer.
Anmol is in Pottawattamie County Jail
According to information on the website of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Department, Anmol has been kept in Pottawattamie County Jail in Iowa. Anmol is believed to live in Canada and frequently visits the US. He is the younger brother of Lawrence Bishnoi.
A reward of Rs 10 lakh announced on Anmol
Lawrence is lodged in Sabarmati Jail in Ahmedabad. He is accused of running a global criminal gang despite being in jail. Recently, the NIA also declared Anmol as most wanted and announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh on him. India has demanded the extradition of Anmol.
America refuses to issue a statement
Earlier this week, the US State Department declined to comment on his extradition case, saying the matter fell under the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI.

- The prison where Anmol is kept is also known as Squirrel Cage. Built in 1885, this prison is known for keeping criminals in revolving cells.
- The Pottawattamie County Jail is one of three rotating jails in the US. This jail was designed in such a way for security purposes that there is minimal contact between prisoners and jailers.
- This uniquely designed prison had the facility to rotate the cells to reach the desired prisoner. All the cells are located on a circular path. The structure of the cells makes the prison look like a cage.
- That is why it is also called Squirrel Cage. This jail is also called haunted jail. Dangerous prisoners were kept here for a long time. It was used as a jail till 1969. In 1971, it was converted into a museum.
