Amroha Acid Attack: In Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, due to an old rivalry, goons kidnapped an 8th class student from her home, took her to the jungle and burnt her with acid. The badly burnt student was taken to the hospital for treatment but she died during treatment. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim and arrested two accused. The incident took place in Pathra Mustakam village of Rahra police station area of ​​Amroha.

Yashoda, the 14-year-old daughter of Prakash, who lives in Pathra Mustakam village of Rahra police station area of ​​Amroha, was a class 8 student in a school in the village. According to the student's brother Yashveer, two people arrived at the door of their house at around 3 am on Monday morning. During this time, they called out to open the door of the house, on which the student opened the door. During this time, both the people kidnapped the student and took her to the Kikar forest of Hadalpur where they beat her and poured acid on her face, due to which she got badly burnt.

The deceased's brother further said that the accused had fled after leaving the student in the forest after the incident. The severely burnt student somehow reached home and told the whole story to her family. After this, the family admitted the seriously injured student to the nearby community health center. Where the seriously injured student was referred to Meerut by the doctors after her condition became critical. Yashoda (14) died during treatment, which has created an uproar among the family members.

The deceased's brother said - Murder due to old enmity
Yashveer Singh, the deceased's brother, said that his sister was kidnapped by village resident Prempal and his son Yogendra. They have thrown acid on my sister. The sister was seriously injured, Yashveer Singh told that his uncle was murdered in the year 2020. There is a rivalry with Prempal of the village. The incident was carried out due to this rivalry. These people feel that we had a hand in the murder. Whereas there is nothing like that. There have been disputes many times before this. Complaints were also made to the police many times. But no concrete action was taken.

Amroha ASP Rajiv Kumar said that in Pathra village, a girl was beaten up and acid was thrown on her at night due to an old rivalry of murder. As soon as the information was received, the police field unit, dog squad, forensic team and surveillance team were engaged to uncover the incident. The girl was sent to a higher center for better treatment where she died during treatment. A case has been registered in the matter and two accused have been arrested and are being questioned. Further action will be taken on the basis of evidence.
