In the Amarnath cave, Lord Shiva had narrated the story of becoming immortal to Goddess Parvati. There is also a pair of pigeons (Amarnath pigeons), whose darshan devotees consider themselves fortunate. But do you know about the mystery of this pair of pigeons (divine birds) seated in the Amarnath cave? If you do not know, then in this article, we will tell you important things related to this topic.

The Mystery of the Amarnath Cave

According to legend, Lord Shiva once showed Maa Parvati the path to attain salvation. In such a situation, there was a conversation between Shankar and Maa Parvati about one thing.

Mother Parvati expressed her eagerness to know the path to salvation from Mahadev. In such a situation, Mahadev agreed to her and took Goddess Parvati to a secluded place i.e. Amarnath cave, where no one else could hear the story of Amritgyan. When Shiv Ji was narrating the story of Amritgyan to Parvati, the pair of pigeons present there also heard the story of Amritgyan.

After listening to the story, the pair of pigeons became immortal and even today the pair of pigeons is present in the cave, whose darshan is availed by the devotees. It is believed that after visiting the Shivling in the Amarnath cave, it is considered very auspicious to see the pair of pigeons.
