Allahabad High Court: Allahabad High Court has summoned the DM of Hardoi. This entire matter is related to a person's arms license. He had given his arms license for renewal. In this case, the court directed the government lawyer to get instructions from the DM of Hardoi. But on this, the lawyer told the court that his mobile is switched off.

The court made a strong comment on the DM's mobile being switched off and then summoned the DM and asked him to appear before the court on Tuesday at 10:15 am. The court also asked what was the situation that the DM could not be contacted even after the government lawyer contacted him. The court has also asked to give this information to senior officials.

The court said that the Chief Secretary and Home Secretary should also be informed about this order. If their phone is also off, then the Chief Secretary should be informed about this order. This case was heard by a single bench of Justice Abdul Moin in the High Court. While this petition was filed by Nazakat Ali of Hardoi and the court has issued this order during the hearing on his petition.
 

Strict comment of the court:
In this petition, the issue of non-renewal of the petitioner's application even after giving it for renewal for eight months was raised. During this hearing, the court ordered the government lawyer to get instructions from the DM and inform why the decision of renewal was not taken. After this, the hearing of this case was postponed till after lunch. When the hearing started again after lunch, the lawyer informed that he could not contact the DM.

The lawyer said that the DM's phone is showing switched off. On this the court has said that this is a sad situation and this is actually how the head of a district is working with his mobile switched off. Now if any emergency arises then how will the DM be contacted. Now the DM will have to appear in the court and explain the reason for not getting the renewal.
