Aligarh News: Bharatiya Kisan Union (Bhanu) staged a massive protest at the RTO office in Aligarh. Bhanu group has accused RTO Pravesh Kumar of harassing and targeting farmers. Union officials say that sometimes vehicles are being seized in the name of summons fee and sometimes in the name of challan and action is being taken against them. When farmer leaders looked at the whole matter, the farmers became angry.

Farmer leaders say that the way the RTO is targeting vehicles loaded with vegetables, it will not be tolerated at all. This is the reason why farmer leaders have accused the RTO of dictatorship while protesting. Farmer leaders say that the dictatorial attitude is being seen every day. Somewhere the farmers are upset with this. Angry farmers protested at the RTO office and raised slogans against the ARTO.

RTO accused of illegal recovery
In fact, during the Maha Panchayat of Bhartiya Kisan Union Bhanu at the RTO office of Aligarh, the RTO was severely reprimanded under the leadership of the youth district president of Aligarh, Krishna Thakur. Hundreds of officials and workers started arriving at the Maha Panchayat from 10 am. The farmers alleged that the ARTO is challaning tractor trolleys and goods carrying vehicles in the name of overloading.

National General Secretary Nem Singh Solanki said that at this time, paddy, millet, cotton, etc. of farmers are being harvested. When farmers take their crops to the market to sell, the ARTO is challaning the tractor trolleys and goods carrying vehicles of the farmers, which is unfair. Corruption is at its peak in the RTO office. No work is done without money. The ARTO is in cahoots with the mining mafia. Therefore, no action is being taken against illegal mining. Such officers are tarnishing the image of the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government. During this, a 6-point demand letter was submitted to the RTO.

What did the RTO officer say?
RTO Deepak Shah said that some farmers have given a demand letter in which they have made point-wise demands. Vegetable and fertilizer supplies should not be challaned during transportation, about which the farmer leaders have been informed. If the vehicles are registered, their challans will not be issued. After this, the farmers have ended the protest.
