Now Ranbir Kapoor has finally reacted to the demand for a sequel to 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'. Ranbir said that the ending of the film was perfect and it should not be made into a sequel. Talking about the possibility of a sequel to Ayan Mukerji's 2013 hit film, Ranbir said that he knows that many fans want to see a part 2, but he doesn't think the film needs a part 2. 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' also starred Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur.

On Valentine's Day, Ranbir Kapoor went live on his venture ARKS's Instagram account and answered questions from his fans. He was also asked about his last film, "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani," and what he would like to say about the sequel.

Ranbir said, "Many of you want a part 2, but there are so many new films, new directors and new ideas that can be worked on. I think the ending of 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' was perfect. So I don't think there is any need for a part 2."

Update given on Brahmastra 2

During the same conversation, Ranbir also talked about Ayan Mukerji's film "Brahmastra 2." He said, "Brahmastra 2 is in the works, we will start shooting that film very soon, sooner than you expect." This further increased the excitement around the film.
