This celebrity is boxer Vijender Singh. The boxer announced through a social media post that he will support Rajpal and cast him in his upcoming film. He wrote on his X handle, " I respect true talent. Rajpal has given so much to Indian cinema. "
Vijender Singh further wrote, " He has brought smiles to our faces through many characters. I invite Rajpal Yadav ji to be a part of my next film, written and directed by Sanjay Sanju Saini. We want to support him at this time. "
The director is eager to see Rajpal on the sets.
Sanjay Sanju Saini, the director of Vijender Singh's upcoming film, also reacted to his post. He wrote, "We would love to see Rajpal Yadav sir on our set. Thank you Vijender Singh Bhaisaab. This support will not only enhance Rajpal Yadav sir but also our film. Thank you very much Bhaisaab."
Why is Rajpal Yadav in jail?
In 2010, Rajpal Yadav took a loan of ₹5 crore from Murli Projects for his directorial debut, "Aata Pata Lapata," but he was unable to repay it after the film's failure. Fifteen years later, the amount, including penalties and interest, has grown to ₹9 crore. After the check bounced, Rajpal surrendered on February 5, 2026. The case will now be heard on February 16.
