Lucknow Building Collapse News: So far 8 people have died and 28 people have been injured in the collapse of a building in Transport Nagar, Lucknow. A case has also been registered against the building owner in this matter. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of the state met the injured. At the same time, CM Yogi has constituted a three-member committee for a thorough investigation of the Lucknow accident. This committee will investigate and submit its investigation report to the government as soon as possible.

CM Yogi wrote on X- "A three-member committee has been formed to conduct a thorough investigation of the tragic incident of collapse of a commercial building in Sarojininagar, Lucknow district. The investigation committee will comprehensively investigate the causes of the incident and submit its investigation report to the government as soon as possible."

 

Let us tell you that on Sunday, the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath reached Lokbandhu Hospital and met the injured and inquired about their condition. CM Yogi also talked to the doctors and gave instructions to provide better treatment to the injured. During this, Sarojini Nagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh was also present. It is known that a building collapsed in Transport Nagar of Sarojini Nagar police station area on Saturday evening. This building was built about four years ago. According to the information, some work was going on on the ground floor of the building. During this time the building suddenly collapsed.

 

Relief Commissioner GS Naveen said that during the rescue operation, the bodies of three more people were recovered on Sunday. So far eight people have died in this accident. The deceased include Jaspreet Singh Sahni, Dheeraj Gupta, Pankaj Tiwari, Arun Sonkar, Rakesh Lakhan Pal, Raj Kishore, Rudra Yadav and Jagroop Singh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed grief over the accident and announced financial assistance to the families of those who lost their lives. The families of the deceased will be given Rs 2 lakh each from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund and the injured will be given Rs 50,000.

 

State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed district officials to expedite relief efforts. The Chief Minister's Office (CMO) wrote in a post on the social media platform 'X' on Saturday, "Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the building collapse incident in Transport Nagar, Lucknow. The Chief Minister has directed the district administration officials, SDRF and NDRF teams to reach the spot and expedite the relief work, so that it can be ensured that the injured get better treatment. He has also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured."
