Many fans have been wondering why the two-time National Award-winning singer, at just 38 years old, made such a drastic decision at the peak of his career. The real reason behind Arijit Singh 's sudden decision, once among the highest-paid singers, has now been revealed. 

Arijit Singh himself told the fans the reason 

Several screenshots are circulating on social media claiming that Arijit Singh posted this statement from his personal account "X." In this statement, Arijit explains his reason for leaving playback singing in Bollywood. 

In this post, Arijit Singh has written, "There is no single reason behind doing this. There are many reasons and I was trying to do this for a long time. Finally, now I have gathered the courage. One reason is very simple that I get bored of things very quickly, so I keep changing the arrangements of the same song and perform it on stage. So the truth is that I was bored."

In this viral post in the name of Arijit Singh, it is further written, “I want to do some different music so that I can survive. The second reason is that I want to listen to many other singers who give me real motivation.”

Arijit Singh wrote this while announcing his retirement.

Arijit Singh announced his retirement just a day after the release of the song from Salman Khan's film 'Battle of Galwan'. Sharing a post on January 27th, he wrote, “Happy New Year to all of you. Thank you for all the love you have showered on me over the years. I am happy to announce that I will not be taking any new assignments as I am retiring from playback singing. It has been a wonderful journey.”

The singer further wrote, "God's blessings have always been with me. I am a fan of good music and in the future I will continue to learn more and work as a small artist. Thank you all for your support. I still have some commitments left, which I will complete, you will probably hear them this year. I just want to make it clear that I will never stop making music."
