The rift between Salman Khan and singer Arijit Singh began during an awards ceremony in 2014. At the ceremony, Salman Khan, noticing Arijit's casual look, commented, "Were you sleeping?" Responding to this question, Arijit Singh immediately replied, "You guys put me to sleep." Salman Khan didn't like Arijit Singh's humorous remark, and that's where the rift between them began.

In 2016, Arijit Singh publicly apologized to Salman Khan, requesting that he keep his song in Yash Raj Films' film "Sultan." However, Salman refused, leading to rumors of a feud between them.

Salman Khan admitted his mistake on the Bigg Boss stage.

Over time, the distance between Salman Khan and Arijit Singh lessened, and he sang the song "Ruhaan" in Dabangg Khan's film "Tiger 3." Last year, when comedian Ravi Gupta visited the set of Bigg Boss 19, he became quite nervous in front of Salman. When the superstar asked him why he was nervous, he quickly replied that he was a little intimidated because he looked like Arijit Singh.

On the stage of Bigg Boss 19, Salman Khan  laughed off the news of rift with singer Arijit Singh and admitting his mistake, said, “Arijit and I are very good friends. The misunderstanding was on my part. After that, he has also sung songs for me. He did it in Tiger 3, now he is doing it in Galwan.”
