News Topical, Digital Desk : In today's fast-paced lives and pollution, we often feel tired and overwhelmed at home. Sometimes, even without any illness, family members feel lethargic or irritable. According to Vastu and Ayurveda, this could be due to stagnant energy or microscopic germs accumulated in the home.
Frankincense and Guggulu
Frankincense and guggulu are natural resins derived from trees. Camphor instantly perfumes and energizes the air, while frankincense and guggulu deeply cleanse the air. Frankincense is known to promote mental peace and reduce stress, while guggulu is known to eliminate harmful bacteria from the atmosphere.
Scientific basis for freedom from diseases
When we burn guggulu with camphor, the smoke produced is rich in antibacterial and antifungal properties. It kills the microscopic germs lurking in the corners of the house that cause colds, coughs, and respiratory illnesses. Especially during monsoons and changing seasons, it acts as an air purifier.
How to remove negative energy?
According to Vastu Shastra , energy flow becomes blocked in certain corners of the house, leading to conflict and financial difficulties. In the evening, when day and night meet (sandhya kaal), light camphor in a brass vessel or earthen lamp and sprinkle some frankincense and guggulu on it. Spread the smoke throughout the house, especially behind cabinets and in dark corners. It is believed that the aroma of this smoke immediately dispels the "evil eye" and negative vibes from the house.
Correct method of burning
First, take two tablets of Bhimseni camphor (pure camphor). Light them and sprinkle powdered guggulu (Indian gooseberry) and frankincense powder on them. Ensure the smoke isn't too heavy; just a light fragrance and a light haze should spread throughout the house. After burning, open the windows for a while to allow fresh air to circulate.
