The woman's name is Phoola Devi and she is currently working as a cook in a primary school in Rampur district. A female teacher from the primary school where she is working heard Phoola Devi's story. The teacher assured Phoola Devi that she would contact a police officer she knows who is posted in Azamgarh and try to trace her family.

Only the name of the village was remembered
. After this, the teacher contacted Azamgarh SP City Shailendra Lal. With the efforts of SP City, Azamgarh police started searching for Phoola Devi's family.
