UP Teacher Recruitment:  Candidates once again surrounded the residence of Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya in the 69000 teacher recruitment case. After returning from the Supreme Court, once again the reserved category candidates involved in the 69000 teacher recruitment surrounded the residence of the state's Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Tuesday.

The candidates are angry over the non-compliance of the decision given by the double bench of Allahabad High Court. Due to this, they are sitting on a dharna in front of Keshav Prasad's house. A large number of candidates who have reached here are raising strong slogans. A heavy police force is deployed on the spot. The candidates sitting here have started a dharna by raising the slogan of Keshav Chacha Nyay Karo.

Candidates say that the government deliberately delayed the High Court's decision, due to which the matter has now gone to the Supreme Court. The government had enough time and could have done justice to everyone by following the High Court double bench's decision.

What are the demands of the candidates?

The reserved category candidates demand that the officers who prepared the old list should be dismissed and a new list should be prepared by a new team of officers. The candidates had also said that the matter should not go to the Supreme Court. So far, the candidates have gheraoed the government residences of many leaders in this matter.

Candidates say that the government is doing injustice to them. According to the candidates, they have been wandering from door to door for the last four days. After the Supreme Court stayed the decision given by the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court, SP and BSP have also demanded from the Yogi government that injustice should not be done to the candidates.
