SP Aditya Mishra also gave information and said that all four Naxalites were members of GRB i.e. Gondia, Rajnandgaon, Balaghat Division. More than 25 search parties are engaged in the area. There is a possibility of finding more bodies of Naxalites. According to the information, a reward was announced on the killed Naxalites. The name of one of the killed Naxalites is being told as Deepak. The remaining three female Naxalites have been killed.

Earlier on 19 February 2025, there was an encounter between Naxalites and police in Balaghat. During this time also, the police killed three female Naxalites in the encounter. During the search operation in Giri police station area of ​​​​Balaghat district, the security forces had an encounter with the Naxalites, in which three female Naxalites were killed. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition were recovered during the search operation.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav congratulated the state police for the success achieved in Balaghat in the campaign being run against Naxalites.
