News Topical, Digital Desk : Prime Minister Narendra Modi today discussed exams. In the 9th edition of "Pariksha Pe Charcha," PM Modi interacted with students. During the discussion, students asked him a variety of questions. PM Modi advised students that while the internet is cheap, they should not waste their precious time on it.

During the 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' programme, PM Modi, while referring to his age, said, "Just now on my birthday on September 17, a leader called me and said that you have turned 75, then I told him that 25 are still left. I do not count the past, but the remaining."

Are skills more important or marks?

During the "Pariksha Pe Charcha" program, a student asked PM Modi, "Are skills more important or marks?" Responding, PM Modi said, "There should be balance in everything. If you lean to one side, you will fall." He further said that there are two types of skills: life skills and professional skills. Therefore, it is important to focus on both of these skills.

PM Modi said, "Can any skill be acquired without study, observation, and application of knowledge? Skill begins with knowledge, and its importance is no less."

PM Modi told students that no matter what your parents, teachers, or classmates say, you must have confidence in yourself. Also, pay special attention to any exam-related advice you receive.

Our goal should be to...

PM Modi said that a teacher's effort should be to ensure that the student's speed is one step faster than his own. Our goal should be something that is within reach, but not within grasp.

Earlier, children from big families used to get numbers

In our country, the children who score high in board exams are from small villages. Previously, only children from large families and prestigious schools achieved such high marks. Just a few days ago, I met the girls from the blind cricket team. They had just won. Hearing them speak brought tears to my eyes.

PM Modi's top 5 'exam mantras'

  • Celebrate the exam like a festival.
  • Compete with yourself, not with others.
  • Digital Fasting: The Right Use of Technology.
  • Tackle the difficult tasks first.
  • Be an exam warrior, not a parrot who memorizes.

We should not be under any illusion

She doesn't have a home, and she's blind, but she learned to play and despite her disability, she reached this far. We shouldn't be under the illusion that a comfort zone is what makes a life; life is made by the way we live it.

Action should be considered the most important thing in life

Not dreaming is a crime. Dreaming is a must, but just dreaming never works. Therefore, action should be the most important thing in life.
