Vrindavan/Mathura.  Mahabali roared fiercely from the Yamuna Expressway to the Yamuna Bridge of Panigaon. During this, action was taken against the hotels, guest houses, dhabas, and the developing residential colonies built without a map and permission on the roadside connecting road. Under the plan to develop Yamuna Raya Heritage City, the Yamuna Industrial Development Authority demolished about a dozen buildings in the presence of the police force.

Remove encroachment campaign launched

On Friday, under the leadership of Yamuna Industrial Development Authority's OSD Shailendra Singh, an anti-encroachment drive was carried out from Yamuna Expressway to Panigaon link road. In the presence of the police force and PAC, the authority started demolishing roadside dhabas, hotels, and guest houses with the help of JCB. This created panic among the dhaba and guest house operators. People started demanding relaxation for a few days for business establishments. Even after this, the authority officials continued the demolition process.

Mahabali will run again on Tuesday

On Friday, from the Expressway cut to Bhootiya village, the boundary walls and pavements of about a dozen hotels, dhabas and developing residential colonies were completely demolished. Authority officials said that the action will be started again on Tuesday. This action will be taken on the buildings built from Yamuna Expressway cut to Vrindavan Pucca Pul. 

The municipality demolished the illegal encroachment by using a JCB

In view of the traffic jams caused by encroachment on the roads in Kosikala, the municipal administration and police launched an anti-encroachment campaign on Friday. During the campaign, a lot of goods kept on the road were confiscated and the encroachers were warned.
