
News Topical, Digital Desk : Chhattisgarh Naxal Surrender: 18 Naxalites surrendered before security forces in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday. Police officials gave this information. They said that a total reward of Rs 39 lakh was announced on the 11 Naxalites who surrendered.
He said that influenced by the state government's 'Chhattisgarh Naxalite Surrender Rehabilitation Policy' and fed up with the inhuman, baseless ideology of the Naxalites and their exploitation, 18 Naxalites including a woman surrendered before the security forces.
8 lakh bounty each on two naxalites
Officials said that among the surrendered Naxalites, PLGA Battalion number one members Madkam Aayta (25) and Bhaskar alias Bhogam (26) had a reward of Rs 8 lakh each on their heads. Whereas, Naxalite members Madkam Deve (25) and Laxman (28) had a reward of Rs 5 lakh each. They said that the surrendered Hemla Mangalu (33), Kunjam Bhima (36), Madkam Bhima (25), Muchaki Manga (39), Korsa Santosh (25) and Telam Mada (35) had a reward of Rs 2 lakh each and Dodi Mangalu (51) had a reward of Rs 1 lakh.
What did the officials say?
According to the officials, this success has been achieved under the Naxal member free Gram Panchayat campaign of the state government. The Chhattisgarh government has announced to give an incentive amount of Rs 1 crore for development work to every Naxal member free Gram Panchayat. He said that the surrendered Naxalites will be provided an incentive amount of Rs 50-50 thousand and other facilities under the 'Chhattisgarh Naxalite Surrender Rehabilitation Policy-2025'.
Let us tell you, before this, the security forces got a big success in the encounter between the security forces and the Naxalites in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh on Wednesday (21 May).
