Istanbul: Turkey President Tayyip Erdogan has given a message to Islamic countries to unite. Erdogan has made this appeal in view of the growing influence of Israel. He said that if we have to stop Israel, then we will have to unite.

The Turkish President further said that an alliance should be formed against the 'growing threat of Israel's expansionism', to which the Israeli Foreign Minister reacted strongly.

Talks with Egypt on Gaza war

Erdogan hosted Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in Ankara this week and they discussed the Gaza war and ways to further improve their long-standing good relations, the first such visit by a president in 12 years.

Relations between them began to improve in 2020 when Turkmenistan launched diplomatic efforts to ease tensions with regional rivals, including the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
