Seoul: North Korea has once again tested a ballistic missile. Seoul says the neighbouring country fired ballistic missiles towards the East Sea on Thursday. Yonhap news agency reported that Pyongyang last launched a ballistic missile on July 1.

Kim Jong-un ordered to increase preparations for war

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has called for the development and production of more suicide drones to boost combat preparedness amid tensions on the Korean Peninsula. South Korean news outlet Yonhap previously reported that Kim Jong oversaw a performance test of various drones on August 24.

During the test, drones flying on predetermined routes destroyed specified targets. The drones have the capability to attack enemy targets on land, air and sea. The North Korean leader also raised the need to actively incorporate artificial intelligence technology in the development of drones.

The pictures released

Yonhap published photos taken by KCNA showing two white suicide attack drones attacking and destroying simulated targets resembling K-2 tanks, saying it was the first time North Korea had unveiled images of such weapons.
