Dhaka. Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is facing a new problem. Five murder cases against Sheikh Hasina, who is hiding in India, have increased the tension. Bangladesh's International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has received five new complaints of murder, genocide and crimes against humanity against 228 people, including Sheikh Hasina.

Under the Bangladesh International Crimes (Tribunal) Act, 1973, courts there can prosecute a former prime minister even in his absence.

First complaint: On July 20, two students Noor Alam Siddiqui, Raqib and Zubair were murdered. This incident took place on the Maiman Singh-Kishorganj highway. In this case, 64 people including Sheikh Hasina were accused. Now Zubair's father Anwar and Raqib's father Abdul Haleem have filed a complaint against Sheikh Hasina.

Second complaint: According to the Dhaka Tribune report, ICT prosecutor Gazi MH Tamim confirmed that complaints were filed against Sheikh Hasina at the Chief Prosecutor's Office on Sunday. On the other hand, a murder case has been filed against Sheikh Hasina and 27 others on the complaint of Mohammad Idris. Idris's son Maruf Hussain was murdered in front of Brac University in Dhaka on 19 July.

Third: In the third complaint, Shafiqul Islam Sarkar has filed a case against unknown persons including Sheikh Hasina. On July 19, his son Faisal Sarkar was murdered in Uttara Abdullahpur area.

Fourth complaint: Sheikh Hasina and 75 others have been made accused in the murder case of Mahfuzur Rahman. Mahfuzur was also murdered on 19 July at Mirpur Chowk.

Fifth complaint: On the complaint of the father of 13-year-old deceased student Aman Noor, another complaint has been filed against 57 people including Sheikh Hasina. Aman was murdered in Uttara Azampur on August 5. Let us tell you that on the same day, amid massive protests, Sheikh Hasina left both her post of Prime Minister and the country. Since then Sheikh Hasina is in India.
