erusalem. Israel Gaza War Break The war going on for the last one year in Gaza between Israel and Hamas fighters has been stopped for three days. Actually, this agreement between Hamas and Israel is about children.

Why did the war stop?

Israel has itself stopped attacking Hamas. This decision has been taken to protect children up to 10 years of age from polio and to stop the spread of the virus. Under the polio campaign, children will be given polio drops for 3 days and there will be no attack in Gaza during this period.

Why did you take the decision so suddenly?

Actually, this decision has been taken due to a 10 month old child being paralyzed. This child has polio. This is the first case of polio in Gaza after almost 25 years.

Doctors concluded that the 10-month-old boy had become paralyzed from the virus because he had not been vaccinated because of the fighting. Most people who become infected with the disease do not develop symptoms, and those who do develop symptoms usually clear up within a week or two.

Agreement on ceasefire, operation will last for eight hours

Some children in Gaza were given doses of the vaccine on Saturday, the first of a mass rollout by Israel and the United Nations World Health Organization (WHO). The WHO said Israel had agreed to a three-day ceasefire.

Israel said the vaccination program would continue until September 9 and run for eight hours a day. Some operations in Gaza are expected to be paused to allow health workers to administer vaccines, with the aim of reaching about 640,000 Palestinian children.
