Gisele Pellicat, the woman who was raped for nearly a decade by about 50 people she called to her home after her husband (now ex) drugged her and knocked her unconscious, testified in court for the first time Thursday.

my world has ended

She said her world came crashing down when police revealed the years of alleged rape she had been subjected to. Dominique Pellicat, 71, and 50 others are on trial for rape charges that carry a possible sentence of 20 years. The trial began on Monday and is expected to go on until December.

The victim gave permission to publish her name

The identity of rape victims is normally not revealed, but Gisele's lawyer, Stéphane Babonneau, said she had given permission for her name to be published and had also insisted the trial be conducted in public.

A rag doll, treated like a garbage bag

In a calm and clear voice, Gisele said in court, "It's unbearable. I have so much to say that I don't always know where to start." She said, "They (the accused) treated me like a rag doll and a garbage bag."
