They believe that the army should put more pressure on Hamas so that they are forced to release the hostages.

About 100 Israelis held by Hamas

On Monday, a labor court accepted the government's petition and ordered the strike to end by 2:30 pm local time. After this, the largest labor union Histadrut asked its members to return to work. There are still about a hundred Israeli hostages in the custody of Hamas. Ceasefire is not happening because of Netanyahu: Biden

US President Joe Biden said on Monday that a ceasefire agreement is not being reached because of Netanyahu. In a press conference held at the White House, Biden said, Netanyahu is not making enough efforts to reach an agreement with Hamas for the release of hostages in Gaza.

He also said that the US is close to presenting a final proposal to the negotiators working on the release of hostages and a ceasefire agreement. Britain suspends 30 arms export licenses given to Israel

Britain's Foreign Minister David Lammy said in the House of Commons on Monday that Britain has immediately suspended 30 of its 350 arms export licenses with Israel. This decision has been taken because there is a danger that these can be used to violate international humanitarian law. Lammy said that the decision to suspend the licenses will only apply to those weapons that can be used in the Israel-Hamas conflict in the Palestinian region of Gaza. On the other hand, Israel's Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz has expressed disappointment over this decision.

Netanyahu wants to continue Israel's presence in the Gaza corridor

Benjamin Netanyahu said that he would continue to insist on maintaining Israel's presence on Gaza's border with Egypt as part of any ceasefire agreement. He said that if Israel agrees to withdraw even temporarily, the international community will never let it return. It is worth noting that Hamas is demanding complete withdrawal of Israel from Gaza.
