Jerusalem. Israel on Saturday killed 14 people in an airstrike in Gaza City, the largest city in the Gaza Strip. In this attack, 11 people living in the same house were killed, including three women and four children. While in another attack, three people living in a tent in Khan Younis were killed.

The Israeli army has said that it had carried out attacks targeting Hamas fighters. Amidst these attacks, the World Health Organization has succeeded in administering the first dose of polio vaccine to 5,60,000 children in Gaza.

Meanwhile, the body of Turkish-American woman Aysenur, who was killed in an Israeli attack in the West Bank on September 6, arrived in Turkey's Didim city on Saturday, where her funeral was held with police honors late in the evening. Aysenur had come to the West Bank to protest Israel's illegal occupation.
