News Topical, Digital Desk : Senior Samajwadi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Ram Gopal Yadav has targeted the central government regarding the international situation and rising inflation following the US-Israel versus Iran conflict. The SP MP stated that the ongoing conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran is impacting the global economy. The SP leader added that this situation has led to widespread fuel shortages and is causing significant losses for the country's oil companies.
Meanwhile, SP MP Ram Gopal Yadav alleged that the central government is delaying a decision on petrol and diesel prices. The SP leader said, "We believe the government is waiting for the elections in these four states to be held before raising petrol and diesel prices by 50-60 rupees per liter."
Additionally, the SP MP also criticized the government over reports of rising electricity prices in Delhi. SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav said that the government is unconcerned with the problems of the common people and is solely focused on ensuring that capitalists do not incur losses.
Meanwhile, SP MP Dimple Yadav said that the opposition had been claiming from the beginning that there was a shortage of LPG and people were facing difficulties. However, the government was not accepting this. Now that the meeting has taken place, we should speak on all these issues. Whether it's LPG, oil, or energy-related products... the food supply chain has also been disrupted.
It should be noted that late on Sunday (March 22nd), Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the situation in the petroleum, crude oil, gas, power, and fertilizer sectors in light of the evolving situation in West Asia.
