News Topical, Digital Desk : A shocking murder has come to light in Chiluvuru village, Duggirala Mandal, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. Onion trader Lokam Shivanagaraju was brutally murdered by his wife, Lakshmi Madhuri, and her lover, Gopi. Police investigations revealed that Madhuri prepared biryani for her husband and served it to him, mixing the powdered contents of approximately 20 sleeping pills.
The incident reportedly occurred on the night of January 18th. After eating biryani, Shivanagaraju fell into a deep sleep. Madhuri then called Gopi to the house. Together, they pressed a pillow over Shivanagaraju's face while he was sleeping, while Gopi sat on his chest and pressed him down, resulting in his death from suffocation.
After the murder, Gopi left, but Madhuri remained sitting near the body and watched pornographic videos on her mobile phone all night. In the morning, she spread a rumor among the villagers that her husband had died of a heart attack and raised an alarm to alert her neighbors.
Shivanagaraju's father and friends noticed injuries and bloodstains on the body, raising suspicions. They filed a police complaint. The post-mortem report found the cause of death to be suffocation and chest injuries, ruling out the theory of natural death.
Forensic examination of the mobile phone revealed evidence of the victim watching pornographic videos throughout the night. During interrogation, Madhuri confessed to the crime and admitted to conspiring with Gopi to commit the murder. Both have been arrested.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and further revelations are possible. The incident has caused a sensation in the area, with people demanding strict punishment.
