Police teams are conducting raids in search of absconding Youth Congress workers. These raids have taken place at a dozen locations, including Delhi.

Who all are arrested?

So far, the police have arrested five accused in this case. The accused include Krishna Hari, National Secretary of the Youth Congress, Kundan Yadav, State Secretary of the Bihar Youth Congress, Ajay Kumar, State Vice President of the Uttar Pradesh Youth Congress, Narasimha Yadav, National Coordinator of the Telangana Youth Congress, and Jitendra Yadav from Gwalior.

The court has sent all of them to five-day police remand. The police have imposed non-bailable charges against them. Serious sections of the IPC include Section 61/2 (criminal conspiracy), Section 221 (obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions), Section 121 (causing hurt to public servant), Section 223 (disobeying a public order), Section 189 (unlawful assembly), and Section 3(5) (committing an offence with common intention).
