After violent protests and political turmoil, the army took control of the entire country on Tuesday night and imposed strict restrictions and curfew. Still, violence continues in many areas. The army has arrested 27 miscreants today.
Nepal's army says that the rioters were taking advantage of the situation and plotting to cause sabotage, chaos, looting, arson and damage to life and property. Police have also seized Rs 33.7 lakh in cash, 23 guns, 31 different types of weapons including magazines and bullets from these rioters.

Nepal: The country is burning; Army has imposed curfew
In 2006, there were mass movements in Nepal for the abolition of monarchy and restoration of parliament. Now there was a Gen-G movement against social media ban and corruption. In which the protesters vandalized and set fire to many administrative buildings including Parliament, Singh Durbar and Supreme Court yesterday i.e. Tuesday.
The private residences of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, President Ram Chandra Paudel, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak were also set on fire. Party offices and police stations were attacked. Banks were looted. Former PM Sher Bahadur Deuba and his wife Arju Rana were beaten up inside their homes. Finance Minister Vishnu Paudel was chased and beaten up outside his home in Kathmandu. The former PM's wife was burnt alive.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was forced to resign. It is being said that KP Sharma Oli also had to leave the country like Hasina. So far 23 people have died and more than 400 people have been injured in the violent protests. The army has taken control. Violence is still continuing.
