
News Topical, Digital Desk : To know the mood of the country, India Today has conducted a 'Mood of the Nation' survey in collaboration with C-Voter. Through this survey, an attempt has been made to find out who could be the better face from BJP for the post of next Prime Minister of the country. Three names have been mentioned in this survey, which include the names of Home Minister Amit Shah, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
In this survey, it was asked who is the contender for the post of PM in BJP after Prime Minister Narendra Modi . In which 28% people liked Home Minister Amit Shah , 26% liked Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and 7% liked Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Along with this, in this survey, it was also asked who is the better face as the next PM, in which 52% liked Narendra Modi and 25% liked Rahul Gandhi.
Who is CM Yogi Adityanath?
Born in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, Yogi Adityanath (Ajay Singh Bisht) was elected as the youngest MP from Gorakhpur in 1998 at the age of 26, where he won 5 times. Then as the CM of UP since 2017, he is the longest-serving leader of the state, who was elected twice in a row for CM. CM Yogi has a strong image of Hindutva, who takes a hardline stand on issues like Ram Mandir, Ayodhya development and love jihad.
Ram Mandir and Kashi Vishwanath Corridor are the choice of 17 percent people
The achievements of the NDA government have also been mentioned in this survey , in which 17 percent people liked the Ram Mandir and Kashi Vishwanath Corridor . Along with this, 12 percent people liked Operation Sindoor . 9 percent people liked the abolition of Article 370 from Kashmir. This survey was conducted between 1 July 2025 and 14 August 2025, whose sample size was 2,06,826. In which people of every age group and religion have been included.
