Kolkata: Kolkata Doctor Murder Case Trinamool Congress MPs are now seen getting trapped by raising questions on Mamata government and Kolkata police in the Kolkata woman doctor rape and murder case. Actually, Rajya Sabha MP Sukhendu Shekhar Roy had raised questions on Kolkata Police Commissioner. Now the police has sent him summons for questioning.
Kolkata Police summoned
The MP has been asked to appear at the Kolkata Police headquarters in central Kolkata by Wednesday afternoon, officials said. The summons were issued hours after his social media post surfaced, in which he sought custodial interrogation of the former principal of RG College and his two associates.

Raising questions on the social media platform X, Sukhendu had said that the CBI should investigate the Kolkata murder case impartially. He said that the Police Commissioner and the former Principal of the Medical College should first be taken into custody and then there should be an inquiry as to who fabricated the suicide story and why.
Sukhendu has raised many questions on Mamata government
TMC MP Sukhendu has been constantly attacking the Mamata government. He had also supported the doctors' protest on August 14 and said that like millions of families in Bengal, I too have a daughter and I will support them. He had also said that the incident has also proved wrong the fact that Kolkata is the safest for women.
BJP leader also summoned
The Kolkata police have also summoned BJP leader and former Lok Sabha member Locket Chatterjee and two doctors for allegedly making controversial social media posts revealing the identity of the woman junior doctor. City police insiders said that apart from revealing the identity of the victim, there are also complaints against actress-turned-politician Chatterjee and the two doctors for spreading misinformation through social media, which is likely to create tension.
