Trump claimed that Iranian leaders, who are grappling with massive anti-government protests in the country, have all contacted him for talks.

Responding to questions about possible retaliation by Iran or its allies, Trump said, “If they do, we will punish them on a level they've never faced before.”

I don't know if they're leaders or if they just rule through violence. But if they do, we may have to take action before the meeting," Trump said.

Regarding the ongoing protests in Iran, Trump said that he was receiving minute-by-minute updates about the situation inside Iran, and "we will make a decision." Responding to questions about potential retaliation by Iran or its allies, Trump issued a clear warning. "If they do, we will give them a befitting reply like they've never received before. They won't believe it," he said.
