Like every year, this time too, the colony in Shri Sai Layout of Horamau area is flooded. Water has entered inside the houses as well. Every year, people here face such problems, so for the last few years, most of the people vacate their houses during the rainy season and shift to nearby areas.
Apart from Horamau, waterlogging has also occurred in HBR Layout and Shanti Nagar areas of Bengaluru. However, due to the cessation of rain, the water level in both these areas has decreased considerably.
People are looking helpless as water has filled their homes and vehicles. It is taking time to drain out the water. People are being rescued using bulldozers and boats and people are coming out of their homes carrying their essential belongings.
