During this, he said that the world is seeing what situation has happened in Gaza due to the use of conventional weapons. He said that this was not enough, now we are seeing a new dangerous level, in which water is being used as a weapon.
'Water is being used as a weapon'
According to the report of Pakistani newspaper The Dawn, on the Indus Water Treaty, Pakistan's PM Shahbaz Sharif said that India is using water as a weapon. He again threatened that Pakistan will not let India cross the red mark on the Indus Water Treaty. After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India took a big action and suspended the Indus Water Treaty. After this decision of India, Pakistan is on the back foot.
In fact, Pakistan has accepted the blow of India's counter-attack. Pakistan's PM Shahbaz Sharif has said in many cases in recent times that India has caused heavy damage to Pakistan. Currently, the Pakistani PM has arrived in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, to participate in the international conference on the conservation of glaciers.
Addressing the conference, Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif said that the decision to suspend the Indus Water Treaty, which governs the sharing of water of the Indus basin, is unilateral. He also called India's decision regrettable.
Maintained silence on Pahalgam attack
Shahbaz Sharif did not say anything about the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. This clearly shows that terrorism is completely sponsored by Pakistan. By keeping silence on the Pahalgam attack, he tried to put the blame of worsening of the situation in South Asia on India.
