'Venezuela will only buy American goods', Trump makes big announcement after Maduro's arrest

Speaking to Truth Social, Donald Trump said that Venezuelans will now only buy goods made in the United States. This includes everything from American agricultural products to pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Venezuelans will have to buy American products

US President Donald Trump told Truth Social that Venezuelans will only buy American products with the money they earn from the new US oil deals. These goods will include American agricultural products, American medicine and American medical devices, as well as equipment to improve Venezuela's electric grid.

Donald Trump further stated that, in other words, Venezuela must primarily view the United States as its primary trading partner. This is a wise decision for them, and it is also best for the people of Venezuela and the United States.

US arrests Venezuelan President

Donald Trump's decision came after the US military arrested Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro at his home. The US launched a series of explosive attacks on Venezuela on the night of January 2nd and 3rd.

At around 2 a.m., the US military entered the home of Venezuelan President Maduro, arrested him, and took him to the United States. Along with Maduro, the US military also detained his wife, Cilio Foros, and took her prisoner to the United States.
