Today, Monday (December 8th), Varanasi police achieved success in this case. Varanasi police arrested two accused who are accused of making millions of dollars in business by selling lakhs of syrups through fake forms. They are also said to be connected to the mastermind of this entire case.

On Monday, Varanasi police arrested two accused in the codeine cough syrup syndicate case. One is identified as Vijay Kumar Jaiswal and the other as Arya. They were trading cough syrup worth lakhs from Jharkhand using fake documents and forged forms. This led to a business worth crores, and their links to the mastermind of the entire racket, Shubham Jaiswal, are also being revealed. The two accused were presented before the media today and both admitted their involvement in the case. 

The main gang leader will also be in police custody soon.

Regarding the viral video of Shubham Jaiswal, the police administration has clarified that he released the video to mislead the case. The police administration, the Drugs Department, and the Special Investigation Team (SIT) are investigating the matter and will soon uncover the entire case and arrest him. The police administration also stated that according to current information, Shubham Jaiswal is out of the country.
