Firozabad : When the demand for additional dowry was not met, the in-laws beat up the married woman and threw her out of the house. The father-in-law is accused of looking at her with bad intentions, and the husband of making objectionable photos viral. An FIR has been lodged against five accused, including the husband.
This is the whole matter.
The victim, a resident of the South Zone, told the police that she was married to software engineer Narendra Sharma, a resident of Murali Vihar Colony, Shahganj, Agra, on 9 December 2020. Her in-laws were not satisfied with the dowry given. They used to demand additional dowry. When the demand was not met, they used to abuse and beat her.
The accused husband is currently working in Bangalore. He has married a second time there. Her father-in-law Ravindra Pal allegedly looks at her with bad intentions. She complained to her husband.
The husband said that if she wanted to live in her in-laws' house, she would have to serve his father. A few months ago, she was beaten up and thrown out of the house. The case is pending in the court.
