Silhari :  Outside the village Musajhag on the Dataganj-Badaun road, a wire of a dilapidated high-tension line broke and fell on a couple riding a bike passing below. Due to this, the couple died of burning alive due to a high-tension voltage current. Seeing the accident, there was screaming among the villagers. When the police reached the spot, the line was separated from the couple with the help of the villagers, but by then, their legs and bikes had been burnt.

People were terrified seeing the accident.

People were horrified to see the accident. After the accident, the villagers got angry with the electricity department. CO Ujhani pacified the villagers. The couple's relatives have demanded action against the officers and employees of the electricity department. The video of the accident is also being circulated on the internet media.

Devpal Chauhan, a resident of Dudhari village of Dataganj Kotwali area, was a farmer. He had come to Badaun with his wife, Meena Chauhan, on Friday morning. He was returning home with his wife on a bike.

According to eyewitnesses, around 5:30 pm, when Devpal Chauhan and his wife reached outside the village Musajhag on the Dataganj-Badaun road on their bike, the dilapidated high tension line passing overhead broke and fell directly on their bike. Due to which the couple came under the grip of high voltage current and fell down along with the bike. Due to the wire being above them, their bike and the couple started burning.
