News Topical, Digital Desk : Uttar Pradesh has achieved great success in the export sector in the last financial year. According to the report of the Federation of Indian Organizations, in the financial year 2024-25, the highest export of electronic products was about Rs 47 thousand crore. Meat was exported at number two which was about Rs 20 thousand crore. Textiles are at number three. 

According to the latest report of Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO), Uttar Pradesh has become the biggest hub of electronics export. This includes products like electronics, meat, textiles, other types of machinery, carpets, footwear, metal utensils, etc.

Positive growth seen in nine sectors

According to the report, positive growth has been seen in nine out of the top ten sectors of Uttar Pradesh. In which one district, one product, freight corridor and logistics park have played a role. The credit for this increase in the export sector also goes to the effective schemes of the Yogi Adityanath government of the state. Due to which the business environment and infrastructure in the state have improved rapidly. 

Growth compared to last financial year

According to the data, the export of electronic products was Rs 38,756 crore in the year 2023-24, which has increased to Rs 46,131 crore in the year 2024-25. On the other hand, if we talk about the export of meat, it has increased by Rs 1,276 thousand crore as compared to the last financial year, which has increased from Rs 18,505 to Rs 19,781 thousand crore. The export of textiles has increased from Rs 14,054 to Rs 15,551 thousand crore. 

Exports of Uttar Pradesh products have increased in countries like America, UK, Germany, Nepal, Austria, France, Netherlands and Spain. In the last financial year, exports to USA increased by 19 percent, UK by 7 percent, UAE by 6 percent, Germany by 5 percent, Nepal by 5 percent, Austria by 5 percent, France by 4 percent and Spain by 3 percent. This news is very positive for the economy of UP.
