Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar addressed the media on Wednesday afternoon, January 14, justifying the department's actions. Commissioner Sajjanar was visibly angered by comparisons of the current situation to the Emergency of 1975. He dismissed allegations of state high-handedness with a clear warning.
