News Topical, Digital Desk : A sensational case of rape of a minor girl has come to light in the Etah district of Uttar Pradesh. On March 27th, the victim had gone to a fair with other village girls in the Jalesar police station area. While returning, three village boys gang-raped her under the pretext of dropping her home. Police registered a case and began a manhunt for the accused, arresting one of them, Surat.

According to the police, two accused are still absconding and efforts are underway to arrest them. Meanwhile, tension has prevailed in the village following this incident, and the victim's family is in panic.

What is the whole matter?

According to reports, on March 27th, a 15-year-old girl from a village in the Jalesar police station area of ​​Etah district went to a fair with her friends at 7 p.m. The other girls returned around 9 p.m., but this girl hadn't returned home. Her family then began searching for her. When the girl was nowhere to be found, they called her several times but were unable to reach her. Later, when they finally reached her on the phone, the victim recounted the entire story.

She told that when she was returning home after seeing the fair, a boy from the same village stopped her, promised to drop her home, forcibly took her to the bank of a canal and gang-raped her along with two of his friends.

Police filed a case

The victim's mother told the police that a young man from the same village lured the teenager back home on the pretext of dropping her off, took her to a forest near a canal, and gang-raped her with two other friends. Based on the victim's mother's complaint, the Jaleshwar police registered a case under sections 70(2) of the IPC (gang rape), 137(2) of the kidnapping Act, and the POCSO Act.

Two accused remain absconding.
Jaleshwar Police Station in-charge Sanjay Raghav stated that one accused, Suraj, has been arrested in this case. Teams are being formed to apprehend the remaining two accused, and they will be arrested soon.
