Damage to buildings and infrastructure

Footage broadcast on Telegram news channels showed a terminal and a tanker on fire overnight. Russian officials said two foreign vessels were damaged in the attack on Tuapse, one of the Black Sea's largest oil terminals, causing the fire. The Krasnodar region's emergency operations headquarters said there were no crew casualties and the fire had been extinguished, but the terminal's buildings and infrastructure were damaged.

Russia destroyed 283 Ukrainian drones

The Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday that air defense units destroyed 283 Ukrainian drones. Kyiv says its drone attacks on Russian energy infrastructure are retaliation for Russian attacks on its power grid. Russia is attacking Ukraine's electricity and heating systems. Russia has argued that such civilian infrastructure is a legitimate target because it supports Ukraine's war effort.

Ukrainian officials said on Sunday that 60,000 people were left without power supplies after overnight Russian airstrikes on the Ukrainian border region of Zaporizhia, while two people were killed in the southern region of Odessa.
