News Topical, Digital Desk : Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has launched a major attack on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He has compared Netanyahu to Hitler. Erdogan said that both Netanyahu and Hitler adopted the same path of destruction. Erdogan's statement has come at a time when the war between Iran and Israel has reached a terrible level.

Netanyahu called a hypocrite

Erdogan has compared Netanyahu to Hitler and called him a hypocrite. The Turkish President said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former German dictator Adolf Hitler are alike because both leaders have chosen the same path of destruction. He launched a scathing attack on Israel, calling it a "hypocrite" and accusing it of continuously enriching its nuclear program without following any international rules.

Iran has the right to defend itself

Erdogan said Iran was defending its people and that it was its legitimate right. He said about 2 million people in Gaza were living in conditions "worse than Nazi concentration camps". The Turkish president strongly criticised Israel's "policies of destruction, occupation and violence" and said "hundreds of innocent civilians were being killed" with each passing day.

Netanyahu is the biggest obstacle to regional peace

Erdogan also accused Netanyahu of being the "biggest obstacle to regional peace". He said this has been proven by the Israeli government itself. He said Iran has been facing "Israeli state-sponsored terrorism" since June 13.

Israel is enriching its nuclear program

Erdogan strongly criticized Israel's attack on Iran, accusing it of continuously enriching its nuclear program without any international rules or monitoring. On the other hand, Israel is attacking Iran and destroying its efforts for peaceful nuclear energy.

Islamic world needs to become a self-reliant pole: Erdogan

The Turkish President said, "The Islamic countries with a population of two billion must now become an independent and strong pole. We are on the threshold of an era where the Islamic world will play a more influential role than ever before." He strongly condemned the Israeli attacks, saying, "The attacks carried out by Israel on Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria and recently on Iran are a living example of looting and robbery."

Netanyahu tortured Gaza's brothers severely

"Just as Hitler ignited a spark and plunged the world into war 90 years ago, Netanyahu's Zionist ambitions are aimed at pushing our region and the world into a major crisis," the Turkish president said. "For the past 21 months, our 2 million brothers in Gaza have struggled to survive in conditions that are worse than Nazi concentration camps." "As Turkey, we fully understand the pain and suffering of our Palestinian brothers. I want to assure them that justice will be done and victory will be with the believers."

Israeli attack a plot to derail nuclear talks

Erdogan said on Saturday that the recent Israeli attacks against Iran were a conspiracy to sabotage the new nuclear talks between the US and Iran. He said this was a clear sign that Israel did not want to resolve any dispute through diplomacy. Speaking at the Istanbul meeting of foreign ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Erdogan appealed to countries that have influence over Israel to ignore its "venomous propaganda" and resolve the conflict through dialogue and peace.
