He said that the US is immediately ending trade talks with Canada in response to the digital service tax on technology companies. US President Donald Trump has said that the US and China have signed a trade agreement. He also expressed hope that an agreement will soon be reached with India as well.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told Bloomberg TV that the agreement with China was signed earlier this week. But neither Lutnick nor Trump provided any details about the agreement.

"We just signed an agreement with China," Trump said late Thursday night. Lutnick said the agreement was signed two days ago.

This could be the reason for the agreement between America and China

It is unclear whether the latest agreement differs from one announced by Trump two weeks ago that he said would make it easier for US industries to obtain much-needed magnets and rare earth minerals.
