News Topical, Digital Desk : Bhilwara Bomb Threat News: There was a stir in the Bhilwara District Collector's Office on Tuesday morning when the office received a bomb threat through a suspicious email. As soon as this email went viral, there was chaos in the administrative department and all the officers and employees were promptly evacuated from the Collectorate premises. Later the administration clarified that this was part of a mock drill, which was organized to check the security measures and the preparedness to deal with an emergency.

At 10:45 am, the District Collector's Office received a bomb threat mail, which created panic in the entire office. The Collector and Superintendent of Police immediately evacuated the premises and called in a bomb squad. Along with the security forces, senior officials of the district administration were also present on the spot and kept an eye on the situation. After investigation, it was found that it was a mock drill, the purpose of which was to see how quickly and effectively the administration and employees can respond in an emergency.

Vigilance was seen in the district and police administration

Many employees and officers working in the Collectorate premises were initially very nervous due to this threat. Uneasiness could be clearly seen in the crowd gathered outside the premises. Many people were seen asking each other for mail details. But when it was learned that all this was a pre-planned mock drill, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. The promptness and vigilance of the district administration and police administration was seen in this mock drill. Immediately after the information, the premises were evacuated without any delay, people were taken to a safe place and the security teams reached the spot in time and started the investigation.

Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh said that our priority is the safety of citizens. Mock drill teaches us how to take the right decision without panicking in difficult times. Collector Jasmeet Singh Sandhu said that this exercise was to check how our preparation is and what improvements are needed. Such exercises will continue in the future as well. There was commotion in the beginning, but it proved to be a successful and necessary exercise.
