According to the police, both the arrested accused were spoiling the atmosphere of the district by spreading the fear of drones in the rural areas. The arrested accused were creating an atmosphere of terror among the villagers by flying in the darkness of night by putting red and green lights on pigeons.
Let us tell you that there was a stir in village Jatwada of Kakrauli police station area of Muzaffarnagar when the villagers saw a "shining flying device like a drone" in the sky in the dark of night. That flying device shining with red and green lights became a cause of mystery and fear for the villagers.
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and when they chased the flying object, a shocking revelation was made. It was not a drone, but a pigeon with red and green lights tied to its neck and legs.
The police investigated the matter seriously
After this strange and sensational incident, the police started a serious investigation and caught the pigeon with the help of local pigeon fanciers. During a thorough investigation of the case, the police received information that two youths of the village had done this act as a joke. The police took immediate action and arrested the accused Suheb son of Afsar (age 22 years) and Shakib son of Javed (age 24 years), both residents of village Jatwada.
The police have recovered 02 pigeons, 01 cage and 03 red and green LED lights from the accused. During interrogation, the accused admitted that they wanted to take advantage of the rumors of drones already spread in the village and make fun of it. For this purpose, they tied lights on the body of the pigeon and flew it at night, which created panic in the village.
Case filed against the accused
In this case, necessary legal action is being taken by registering a case at Kakrauli police station under FIR No. 114/25, Section 270, 325, 353(1)(b) Indian Penal Code (BNS). This entire action was carried out under the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Sanjay Kumar Verma, in which Superintendent of Police (Rural) Mr. Aditya Bansal, Circle Officer Bhopa and the team of Kakrauli police station played an important role.
For this commendable work, the entire police team has been awarded a cash prize of Rs 20,000. This case not only exposes a unique mischievous act, but also shows how the Muzaffarnagar police is ready to ensure the safety of the public with seriousness and alertness.
