Rajat played the role of Jarj Saxena
Rajat plays Zaraj Saxena in the series. Zaraj Saxena is a character you can hate but never forget. Zaraj has been unemployed for 15 years, but is constantly knocking on a producer's door to try and find fame and a comeback in showbiz. In his words, his character bears a striking resemblance to his real self, who is also trying to make a comeback in Bollywood. Now, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Rajat revealed that the first season was just a teaser and there's much more to come about Zaraj.
Making a big revelation, he told us, "Yes, there is a second season. It is in the works. I hope the audience will see more of me in the second season."
Praise is coming from all sides
Rajat revealed that his phone has been ringing off the hook since "The Bads of Bollywood" released on Netflix. He said he's received a lot of love from the audience. Speaking about this, Rajat said, “It's incredible! Not just me, but my entire family—my son, my daughter, my wife—feel like God has given us everything at once.”
Aryan was sure about casting Rajat
Talking about the show, Rajat revealed that Aryan was very nervous about narrating the script to him. He said, "One day, I suddenly got a call saying that Aryan was waiting for me. I was in Canada at the time. Aryan's office contacted him and told me that Aryan wanted to meet me. I immediately reached Mumbai. I even remember the date. It was December 21-22, 2022. Aryan came to pick me up. He was very nervous about meeting me. If I had refused the role, it would have been cut from the series. There was no plan to replace me with another actor.
