What did Amit Shah say?
Addressing a rally in Guwahati, Amit Shah said that 27 countries have honoured PM Modi with the highest honour. A PM whom the whole world respects. But the way Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has started negative politics in Indian politics, its low level display was seen in the Infiltrator Bachao Yatra. Congress leaders have done the most disgusting thing by using abusive language for Narendra Modi's late mother from the stage of welcoming Rahul Gandhi. Today, I condemn the way Rahul ji has started the politics of hatred from this stage and the abusive language used for PM Modi's mother.
The kind of negative politics that Rahul Gandhi has started will not elevate our public life, but will take it to the depths. This is not from today, ever since Modi Ji became the CM, every Congress leader has used abusive language against Modi Ji. Congress cannot tolerate a poor mother's son becoming PM
Earlier on Thursday too, he had condemned it and said that it is a blot on the country's democracy. Shah also said that under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, Congress politics has reached its lowest level and he cannot tolerate the son of a poor mother sitting on the post of Prime Minister.
The Home Minister wrote on 'X', "The way abusive and indecent language was used for the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and his late mother from the platform of Congress and RJD in Darbhanga, Bihar, is not only condemnable, but also tarnishes our democracy." In the same post made in Hindi, he said, “Under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, the politics of Congress has reached its lowest level. They are unable to tolerate how the son of a poor mother has been sitting on the post of Prime Minister for the last 11 years and is continuously taking the country forward under his leadership.”
Amit Shah said, "This clearly shows that the Congress party has returned to its old ways through which it always worked to poison the country's political culture." He said, "From his time as Gujarat Chief Minister till today, the Gandhi family has left no stone unturned in spreading hatred against Modi ji." Shah said in the post, "But now they have crossed all limits of decency. This is an insult to every mother, every son, for which 140 crore countrymen will never forgive them."
