
M-cap of Top 10 Companies: The market cap of the top 10 companies of Sensex has increased by Rs 3,84,004.73 crore last week. This increase happened due to the rise in equity markets despite fewer trading sessions due to holidays. HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel were at the forefront among the top performing companies. During this period, the BSE Sensex of 30 stocks rose by 3,395.94 points or 4.51 percent. While the National Stock Exchange's Nifty gained 1,023.1 points, which shows an increase of 4.48 percent.
Due to this the market boomed
Speaking to The Mint on this, Ajit Mishra, Senior Vice President (Research), Religare Broking Limited, said, "Due to favorable signals from both domestic and global sides, the market saw a strong recovery even in the short trading week due to holidays and gained more than 4.5 percent." He further said, "This rise has come due to the temporary ban on tariffs and keeping some selected items out of the tariff list. This has further increased the possibilities of trade talks in the coming time, which can reduce the impact on global trade to a great extent. "
- Among the top 10 companies, HDFC Bank's valuation increased the most, rising by Rs 76,483.95 crore to Rs 14,58,934.32 crore.
- The market value of Bharti Airtel has increased by Rs 75,210.77 crore, taking its total valuation to Rs 10,77,241.74 crore.
- The valuation of Reliance Industries has increased by Rs 74,766.36 crore, which has now increased to Rs 17,24,768.59 crore.
- Whereas the market capital of ICICI Bank has increased by Rs 67,597 crore to Rs 10,01,948.86 crore.
- With an increase of Rs 38,420.49 crore, the valuation of State Bank of India has reached Rs 7,11,381.46 crore.
- The market cap of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) increased by Rs 24,114.55 crore to Rs 11,93,588.98 crore.
- The market cap of Bajaj Finance has increased by Rs 14,712.85 crore and with this it has reached Rs 5,68,061.13 crore.
- The valuation of ITC also increased by Rs 6,820.2 crore to Rs 5,34,665.77 crore.
- Whereas the valuation of Infosys has increased by Rs 3,987.14 crore to Rs 5,89,846.48 crore.
- The market capitalization of Hindustan Unilever increased by Rs 1,891.42 crore to Rs 5,57,945.69 crore.
