
News Topical, Digital Desk : There was a stir when the body of a young girl was found in a suitcase near the railway bridge in Chandapura on the outskirts of Bengaluru. The age of the girl is said to be around 18 years. In the initial investigation, it is suspected that the girl was murdered somewhere else and then the body was locked in a suitcase and thrown here from a moving train.
Suitcase found near railway tracks
The body of an unidentified girl was found in a blue suitcase along the railway tracks adjacent to Hosur Main Road near Chandapura railway bridge. Locals informed the police after finding a suitcase lying in the morning. Suryanagar police immediately reached the spot and inspected the scene. Later, the railway police also reached the spot and registered a case and started investigation.

Bengaluru Rural District SP CK Baba confirmed the incident and said, "The matter is being investigated. Prima facie it seems that the crime was committed somewhere else and then the body was packed in a suitcase and thrown from the train here."
Police busy in identifying the deceased
The police is currently engaged in identifying the deceased. Complaints of missing persons in the surrounding areas are also being investigated. The body has been sent for post-mortem, so that the cause and time of death can be ascertained. The police have registered a case of murder and have started investigating the case from all angles. Apart from this, the police is also trying to collect evidence from CCTV footage around the railway track. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area due to this sensational incident.
