News Topical, Digital Desk : Amidst the growing bitterness between the two countries after the tariff imposed by the US, hatred towards India has started to appear among the people living there. In fact, 'Nuke India' was written on one of the guns of the shooter who killed two children by firing at the Minneapolis Catholic school.
Video footage of the weapon he used has been circulating. The shooter, identified as 23-year-old Robin Westerman of Minnesota, opened fire at the school on Wednesday, killing two children aged eight and 10 and wounding 17 people. He later shot himself.
Many contradictory things were written on the gun
Video footage circulating online showed Westman displaying his weapons. One gun had the words "Nuke India" written on it in white paint. However, videos uploaded by him also carried several other messages, including "Kill Donald Trump Now."
Journalist Lara Loomer said in a post that the Minnesota shooter's gun had 'Mashallah' and 'Nuke India' written on it. He also wrote 'Israel Must Fall'. He was clearly influenced by Indian and anti-Semitic Islamic propaganda.
It's not really shocking to see someone like this bash Catholics who live in Ilhan Omar's district. Ilhan Omar is a Democrat and has been the US Representative for Minnesota's 5th congressional district since 2019.
